The Association will organize educational opportunities such as lectures and provide discussion forums with expert panel discussions in a university setting.

The Association reserves the right to conduct any lawful act or activity for which nonprofit organizations may be organized under the California Nonprofit Corporation Act or activities permitted by section 50l(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code and its regulations, or successor sections or regulations.

1. University Outreach :

The ADG will setup a lecture and panel discussion series at Southern California colleges and universities including but not limited to: UCLA, USC, UCI, Cal State Northridge, Cal Poly Pomona, LMU, Pepperdine and Loyola Law School. The ADG plans to leverage its contacts with existing Armenian student associa!”1ons to setup these workshops. The ADG plans to attract both Armenian and non-Armenian students. The aims are (1) to educate and introduce university students (both undergraduates and graduates) about the culture, regional socioeconomic conditions, and problems facing the people of NKR and (2) to encourage critical thinking about solutions to current problems in the region.

2. High School Outreach

The ADG believes in the youth as a force of positive change. To this ex1ent, the ADG board members and volunteers plan to visit high schools in the Southern California region and talk to high school students about NKR, specifically, its culture, traditions, economy, history and current affairs. Through this program we hope to simulate the students’ interest in pursuing these issues further.
